In order to make the media matrix more flexible in the use of Dante network audio transmission function, and to connect with other Dante audio devices as an independent and universal interface to achieve mutual information exchange and long-distance transmission of audio signals, ACX once again introduced the Rio expansion box using Dante transmission according to the needs of the audio market.
At present, the RIO series has six product models, including R22-P, R44-P, R22p-WP-X and R22-WP-M, R1616-N and R1616-NX. All models provide two-way Dante network audio transmission - analog audio input, conversion Dante network audio signal transmission through network cable, and Dante network audio to analog audio breakthrough.
The RIO expansion box provides additional system flexibility, which makes the long distance and unstable analog wiring system convert into a low-cost and efficient digital CAT5e/6 network cable to realize audio signal connection, making the entire installation project more stable, controllable and flexible.
R1616 Dante expansion box is a standard 1U high rack equipment. The front panel is equipped with audio signal indicator, and the rear panel is equipped with two RJ45 Dante network ports and 16 in 16 out Phoenix interfaces for analog audio transmission.
In terms of digital network audio transmission, R1616 Dante expansion box provides 16 in and 16 out Dante network audio transmission through a CAT5e/6 network cable (equipped with two Dante connection ports, one is the main interface and the other is the hot backup port).
In terms of analog transmission, R1616 Dante expansion box adopts 3.5mm Phoenix interface, providing 16 channels of stability, with 48V microphone phantom power supply, or line audio input and 16 bal-anced line output. The R1616 Dante expansion box is used as a pure Dante transmission device based on the standard Ethernet hardware configuration, with the functions of automatic device search and automatic DHCP IP address assignment.
High quality A/D and D/A conversion ensure high fidelity audio quality. The Dante connection port of the R1616 Dante expansion box is connected to the Solaro series or other devices configured with Dante protocol through network cables, and the data transmission is controlled in real time through our ACX Designer control software.
